Hi Everyone, I final got a chance to wear my dress that i blog about a week ago and it feels great wearing my memade. I got so many compliments.I will definitely make this dress again. I add a split to the dress to make it looks a little sexier..Happy Sewing!!
What can I say..I love lace and my go to pattern McCall 6886.I can get enough of this pattern.This is the fifth time making this pattern I just can't get enough of it. I did a few review on it already..Happy sewing😀
Happy Friday Everyone, I'm so ready for Valentine's Day.I made this dress using McCall's 6886 view A.This is my 3rd time making this dress, it is super easy and it works up really fast just three pieces.with this pattern just changing the fabric makes it look completely different. The fabric I bought at my local fabric store for $1.99 a yard for the lace and also for the white.so in all I spend $8.00 for the 4 yards..I'm so loving my $8.00 dress.I cut a size 12 for the dress and a size 14 for the sleeves because I wanted to add pieces of elastic to the wrists.Happy Sewing !!
Happy Wednesday Everyone, I made this dress using New Look 6178.I really like the finish product. The black fabric I got at my local fabric store for $1.99 a yard and I bought 1&1/2 for the dress I had in mine when I saw this pattern I feel in love so I cut the skirt piece from it and use a piece of left over green I had in my stash I cut out the pieces from a fabric I had to make it more dressy.The pattern was fairly easy I cut a size 10 for the bottom and a size 12 for the top.I did view A.I didn't add the Zipper to it because the fabric had a little stretch to it.Happy Sewing !!
Happy Tuesday Everyone, made another skirt so I'm on skirt #3 this time it is a box pleat skirt paired with McCall's cardigan#6844. This cardigan was pretty easy the only problem I had was the fabric was more of a sweater fabric..but I like how it turn out.Happy sewing!!

Happy Thursday Everyone, made this Top using Simplicity #1613 I just love the off the shoulder top it's just super sexy.This is super easy pattern.I cut a size 10 and view d I didnt add the shoulder straps.I add about 6inches to picece that go around because I wanted it longer. I will be definitely making another one soon maybe a different style ,This pattern can easily be made into a dress.This pattern is great wardrobe builder.Happy Sewing!!

Happy Friday everyone, It's been a while since my last post I've been a little busy sewing quilts.The Dress I made today is McCall's 7016 it is a semi fitted, pullover dress. The fabric I use was a Double knit that I found in a bin for $1.99 at my local fabric store.I modified my dress a little just my cutting the back and the front on the fold and then made a scope neckline in the front because I didn't want the collar, that is the only changes I made. I really enjoy making this dress it sew up really quick.It is a great dress for beginners.Happy sewing!!
