ch1 turn sc until band is long enough.make it fitted.[for me I have 62 rows]

join with yarn

 in each st across,ending with 1 dbltr in last st.

  row 1-3 ch1,sc around,sl st

row 4-pattern st sl st    

row5-7 ch1-sc around sl st 

row 8-pattern st,sl st.

row 9 sc around.

row 10-ch1"sc in the nxt 6sc then 2sc in the nxt"rpt,sl sp.

row11-ch 1 sc around.

row12 pattern st sl st

row 13ch1 sc around sl st.

row 14 ch1"sc in the nxt 8sc then 2sc in the nxt st' rpt around.

row 15ch 1"sc around"

row16-pattern st,sl st.

row 17-19-ch1-sc around sl st [you can increase or decrease to fit].

row 20-pattern st,sl st.

row 21-23 ch1 sc around.

row24 pattern st.sl st.

row 25-28 ch1 sc around [can add increase or decrease]this is were I stop,but you can continue row 24-28 to make it longer.
