Happy Monday Everyone, I made this quick and easy cardigan using McCall's 6996, view A, I like how quick it was I just finishing cutting another, it is also a great wardrobe builder. The fabric I use was kind of a neoprene with insulation, I found at my local fabric store for $3 a yard. The only change I would make to this pattern is to cut the sleeves one size smaller. This pattern is great for beginners.Happy Sewing!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone, I'm super excited made my first Coat using Vogue 8933, view B..it was easy.The problems I have was that the sleeves fit a bit tight, I cut a size 14 but I would definitely go up a size. (2) The fabric was wool blend, next time I will definitely use pure wool (3) stiffer interfacing was needed for the coat otherwise I really love the way it turn out and will be making a shorter version next time. I recommend this for anyone who wants to try making coats to give it a try...Happy Sewing!!!
Happy Monday everyone, made this cute faux wrap dress with New look 6301, it was a win for me.I love how the skirt is just fitted you can lengthen the dress if you wanted.The top was a bit low but I cut a size too big I'm between a 10 and a 12 and I cut a 12 next time I will cut a 10.The straps could be a little bit longer.I didn't add the elastic this time.I really enjoying making this dress it was quick and easy if your looking for a dress this is the one for you! Happy Monday everyone,hope you guys are having a great Labour day.made this dress using Simplicity 2444 Project runway.I've had this pattern about 4 years and never thought to use it until now but I'm sorry I didn't because it was fun and easy.i didn't use any lining and neither the pocket because I didn't have enough materials.I would recommend you try this pattern you will have no regrets.i cut a size 12, I wish I had cut a size 10 to get a more fitted bodice, but it still love the way it turn out. Happy Monday everyone, made my end of summer dress using McCall's M6115, I change it a bit by marking the waist and and dividing it into equally parts.After which I cut them and spreading the pieces 1 and 1/2 inches apart(cut and spread).And this is the result I got.Happy sewing! !!
Happy Tuesday Everyone, made a easy cardigan today using McCall's M6844 view A, i just made it 3/4 sleeve because i ran out of fabric it was easy and quick it call a lot of different stitch but as long as you pay attention to the pattern you can never go wrong...just getting ready for fall. Happy Friday everyone, I really enjoying making my First tule skirt, I love the way is turn out.. I will be definitely making more.All I did was cut a circle skirt and add two layers of tule plus the lining and add elastic to the waist...It was quuck and easy.Happy Sewing!!!

I'm really in love with this quick and easy dress .I changed the top because after cutting out a size medium it was too tight so I just made a tube top instead it was really easy to make all together at least 30 mins.The pattern call for knit or jersey but I had this material just sitting around which is kinda cool for this weather. I will be definitely making this again but in knit... I really like it...Happy Sewing!!
